Tequila-Lime Steak Fajitas to bring on Spring

I just remembered I forgot to take a end picture of these…But let’s just say they didnt last long enough..anyways, we cooked out today to celebrate our friend’s bday. I made tequila lime steak fajitas, spanish rice and doctored up salsa…

Since I hardly use recipes, Ill do my best to recap this..


1-2lbs sirlion steaks

1 jalapeno

2 medium onions

2 bell peppers

1/2 Chili-Lime marinate ( any kind)

1/2 cup tequila ( any kind)

1 garlic clove

1 tbsp of chili powder and cumin

1tbsp cilantro

10 Whole wheat tortillas


Cut steak, onions and bell peppers into thin slices…Add the marinate, spices, garlic, jalapeno, tequila to steak in a bowl, cover and put in fridge for at least 30 minutes, longer if you are able to…Set chopped up veggies aside. Right before you are ready to grill, add the veggies to the steak mixture and wrap in tinfoil..Grill for about 15 minutes..Enjoy with a warm tortilla top with salsa, cheese, sour cream/ greek yogurt or whatever suits your fancy..!!
